Southies
In Cleveland there is a store called Southland Beverage. Its in one of those dying strips in Parma but has one of those beer selections that makes me think up reasons to drive an hour out of my way home in traffic to visit. The selection of English Ales is small but top notch, especially for Black Sheep, Fullers and Harvey Lee fans. They also have one of the best German and Belgian selections in the city and a domestic microbrew collection that is nothing to sneeze at. Plus one of the best liquor selections around. Sorry if the grammar and spelling are off, its a Garde Dog night.

Poet not Football
My wife is watching the Steelers in the Super Bowl. I am writing this and drinking New Holland the Poet Oatmeal Stout. I'll watch soccer but that's about it, on the beer side I'll drink just about anything but Budweiser, unless I'm in a pinch, then I'll watch any sport with a Bud Light. At least if the Steelers win it will be a good week for me.
Restarting
This blog is going to be dedicated to drinking and gardening. Since it is the middle of winter in Cleveland with a foot of snow on the ground it will start as drinking. Unless of course I try to come back on the indoor plants after killing so many while in grad school.
